The ceramic rings sintered with special molding method are highly porous, that altogether with the cylinder shape ensures their large surface filtration area. This filtration material convenient to place or to remove - the ceramic rings come in a plastic net. Use as medium filter to fast breed the filtration bacteria, to prevent dirt clogging of sponge filter, and let the filtration bacteria to decompose harmful ammonia. Because of the suitability of quick attachment and breeding the filtration bacteria, you can significantly reduce the unstable time of aquarium start-up with the help of filtration bacteria activity.
Directions for use:
● 60cm aquarium is good for 1~2 of 0.3L packs bio-rings.
● Lightly wash the bio-rings in their net before use.
● The filtration bacteria population will develop there within 3 weeks.
● The sponge filter will grew more effective in conjunction with bio-rings.
● Changing color of bio-rings doesn't affect their efficacy, that's normal.
● Once every few weeks or 1 month depending on the dirt, bio-rings may need some wash with clean water. DO NOT use the tap water, for the chlorine can kill the filtration bacteria in there. Use the clean water from the same tank.
● The most effective period of bio-rings - first six months. Then, according to efficacy go down, it may need a replacement.
● It's recommended not to replace all bio-rings a once. Better to replace by half-parts, to let the bacteria re-populate in new place.

The box backside schemes introduce possible methods of use bio-rings in aquarium installed filter tray or in external filter unit.
