The Substrate is a complete fertilizer that contains ample amount of all the necessary elements as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, etc., and the right amount of micro elements, that let provides the plants roots with balanced nutrition. It not only promote the development of water plants, accelerate growth, but also helps effectively prevent and treat various diseases can occur to plants.
This product applies a special formula and a method of cure, it won’t disintegrating in water, won’t pollute the sand and won’t affect water quality. Slow-soluble fertilizer efficiency lasts up to one year, and the liberation of the sustainable nutrient supply provide absorption by plants’ roots, so the algae have no opportunity to use it. Thus it prevents algae breeding, being so the most effective bottom fertilizer.
Usage and dosage:
1) Use 10g dose per a liter of silicon sand. The fertilizer should be evenly distributed among the bottom sand layer, about 1/3 of all sands. (Eg aquarium size 60*45*45 cm, 8cm of sands is going to load, then 1/3 of a thickness of about 8 cm x1 / 3 = 2.7cm. If the volume of sand bottom = 60*45*2.7 = 7.2 liters, thus, the required basal fertilizer dose would be 70g).
2) The product contains of 4 packs of 25g each, please join to it the included capsule 1 per pack (inside the capsule there is a heterotrophic facultative air hygiene substance that will purify the sands giving benefit to the plants roots growth.
3) During two months of the initial period (for the breeders), it’s recommend to adding the fertilizer, and change 1/3 of water each 3 days. After the two months can start the normal fertilization, and extend every time water-changing to once a week.
5) Adding too much of the basal fertilizer can cause injury to roots. Pls never overuse!
